High Temp Pepper Jack Cheese 1/4" Cubes for Sausage, Snack Sticks, Brats & Summer Sausage
Add bold flavor and a little heat to your homemade sausage and meat products with Eldon's High Temp Pepper Jack Cheese Cubes. Made with real pepper jack cheese and specially formulated for sausage making, this high-temperature cheese is designed to hold its shape during cooking and smoking instead of melting out like regular cheese. Pre-cut into convenient 1/4" cubes, it blends easily into meat mixtures and adds creamy cheese flavor with mild pepper heat, color, and texture throughout your finished product.
Perfect for snack sticks, summer sausage, bratwurst, jalapeno sausage, fresh sausage, homemade hot dogs, sausage patties, hamburgers, venison sausage, wild game sausage, breakfast sausage, and meatballs. Use approximately 8–10% cheese to meat ratio for best results.
Available sizes include 8 oz – great for approximately 5 lbs of meat, 1 lb – great for approximately 10 lbs of meat, and 5 lb – great for approximately 50 lbs of meat.
This high-temp cheese withstands cooking and smoking temperatures up to approximately 400°F for 5 minutes while maintaining its consistency throughout the product. Refrigerate or freeze for storage. Approximate refrigerated shelf life is 2 months, and frozen shelf life is approximately 12–18 months.
