CHOOSE YOUR GRIND
• 1/8" — Fine: Fine-textured sausage, snack sticks, and ground-meat jerky.
• 3/16" — Medium-fine: Breakfast sausage, burgers, and everyday ground meat.
• 1/4" — Medium: Bratwurst, Italian sausage, and burgers with more texture.
• 3/8" — Coarse: Coarse sausage, chili meat, and first-pass grinding.
• 1/2" — Extra-coarse: Initial grinding before a finer pass or recipes calling for a chunky texture.
Suggested uses vary by recipe and personal preference. Sizes refer to the grinding holes, not the plate’s outside diameter.
