This seasoning makes a real Old West Style Breakfast Sausage with just the right amount of pepper and sage. Has a little kick with excellent savory flavor. Ingredients: Salt, Sugar, Pepper, Dextrose, Sage, Spice Extracts & Monosodium Glutamate (6.12%), BHA (0.044%), Prpyl Gallate (0.017%) & Citric Acid (0.010%) added to protect flavor.

This is one of the best breakfast sausage seasonings that I have used. Is better with a little White Pepper and Sage added to it.

I have been using this seasoning for several years now. My wife used to buy me a local breakfast sausage from the store.
Now she buys me a five pound pork shoulder which I grind up and add Old West seasonings. For a while I would fire up my smoker and stuff the sausage into the casing and smoke.
Last time I ran out of sausage, and was short on time I simply ground the pork and added seasoning plus some dry smoke flavoring and put small egg sized amounts into sandwich bags. I flattened the bags with my hand and used the dull edge of a large knife to separate into "links".... While the meat was inside the bag, then froze.
Let me tell you it sure was a lot faster and easier than my smoker! And the taste is excellent! For a great tasting anytime sausage look no further.... I usually add a teaspoon cayenne pepper per five pounds.... I like it hot!

Been buying from Eldon for almost thirty years, great product, and service!
